Pool Leader- Take charge of a pool site! Visit your pool site prior to Swim weekend to make sure your location has enough brochures and posters. Enlist volunteers to assist you at the pool the day of the Swim. Attend one Pool Leader Training Session at the Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland office (dates to be determined, in April 2010). Contact volunteers Swim week to remind them of the time and date they will help you at your pool. Lead the pool the day-of the Swim, including organizing volunteers and swimmers.
Pool Volunteer - Help the Pool Leader at the registration desk, work as a lap counter (download Lap Counting Worksheet), or serve as a greeter. Volunteers are needed at a pool near you.
Lifeguard Volunteer - Certified lifeguards are needed at various pool sites.
Office Mailings – January through April: We need your help: M-F, 9am-5pm. Come join the fun and work in our office!
Distribute Brochures and Posters - January through April: Help put the brochures in your neighborhood stores and offices.
