Diabetes Partnership's Golf Tournament in June 2011!

SWING into AUTUMN COUPLES GOLF TOURNAMENT
And help Greater Clevelanders in Need...

The Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland is working with the Northern Ohio PGA to offer an exciting new Autumn Golf Getaway opportunity for couples designed to create a memorable end-of-season golf adventure and help families, friends and neighbors affected by diabetes here in Northeast Ohio.

The first annual Diabetes Partnership Swing into Autumn Couples Golf Tournament will take place on Thursday, September 16th at StoneWater Golf Club in Highland Heights. Any twosome can sign up, but we are encouraging couples to come out and enjoy a beautiful fall day – together!

What better way to swing into autumn than to enjoy the casual serenity, peaceful natural beauty, and breathtaking bursts of colors at StoneWater. With 180 acres of lush landscape, abundant wildlife, stunning sandstone formations, and wetlands, lakes, streams – couples can take in the sweeping panoramic views together and know they are doing it for a great cause.

The day’s activities include 18 holes of challenging golf with carts, driving range, a box lunch, a sumptuous Taste of Italy dinner with awards, a Chinese auction and a 50/50 raffle. This one-of-a-kind golf getaway is priced affordably for only $300 per couple. Moreover, PGA professionals will be on hand to provide advice upon request and ESPN 850 WKNR Radio will be promoting the event with Saturday Golf Show hosts Greg Brinda and Jimmy Hanlin.

The current economic downturn has resulted in job loss and is causing a rapid escalation in the number of Greater Clevelanders who need emergency diabetes supplies and services. Without our help, many of these individuals will not be able to prevent the very serious complications that go with this very serious disease.

One couple’s participation alone can save a life by providing one client in need with medical nutrition therapy, glucose meter education and critical emergency diabetes supplies for three months. (For more information about Diabetes Partnership go to www.dagc.org)

The need is great and the time is now to swing into action. To register for the Diabetes Partnership Swing into Autumn Couples Golf Tournament, please view the invitation and link to online registration below. We look forward to seeing you on September 16th at StoneWater!

Sincerely,

Holly & Greg Brinda
