Spring Bicycle Ride
A pediatric endocrinologist will lead a bicycle ride for individuals age 12 years and older with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. The ride will be along the scenic Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Towpath Trail follows the historic route of the Ohio & Erie Canal. The ride will be approximately 24 miles long and the ride will last about 3 hours. Participants will bring their own bike, helmet, lunch and diabetes supplies. The spring bike ride, parent program, and rider fanny packs filled with water and snacks are sponsored by the Janet Kushkin Memorial Fund.
